The SS Solar Smart Trickle Charger was designed specifically for storage facilities with safety in mind.
The smart features allow it to effectively charge all battery types such as AGM, Gel, Deep Cycle, Sealed, Lead Acid, Flooded, and LiFePO4 lithium.
It also has built-in safety features to prevent overcharging, reverse polarity, over current, and short circuits.
These smart features prevent a tenant from damaging a battery with an improper connection.
All of this is provided without adding to your monthly electric bill since the system is solar powered.
How It Works
Each storage unit is equipped with a 30-watt SS Solar Panel.
We offer a variety of mounting options to fit your facility’s specific designs whether it’s a new build or a retro-fit. Our trickle charging system can be mounted on canopies, rooftops, and poles.
Each tenant that wants to use this feature purchases the SS Solar Smart Trickle Charger from the storage facility.
Once the tenant owns the trickle charger, it is connected to the junction box cable and then to their battery as needed. If the tenant damages or loses the charge controller, a replacement can be purchased from the storage facility.
Inside the storage unit is a junction box with a unique solar charging cable that only connects to the SS Solar Smart Trickle Charger.
This allows you full control over this added feature. Your tenant can only connect the trickle charger and is not able to power an entire RV with refrigerators and an air conditioner.
